For the second time Release the Fear (RTF) has been identified by the Arizona Department of Education as one of four Pre-Approved Program Providers of the Character Education Matching Grant for FY2018-2020.

Submit FY18 competitive Grant Applications in GME May 10 โ€“ June 21, 2017.  

Schools that apply this year only will be provided funding for Character Education for 3 years.

  1. Any public or charter school that teaches a character education curriculum pursuant to section 15-719 is eligible for a state matching grant. The school shall provide matching monies from any lawful source, except that the school shall not use resources obtained from a federal character education grant as matching monies to obtain a second state character education grant.
  2. The character education program shall be an age-specific, stand-alone character education curriculum
