THE POWER OF WHOLE BRAIN THINKING©

Discover your ”Can-Do”© ~ Opening the possibilities in you.

R E L E A S E   T H E   F E A R,  I N C TM

Introduction

At a very young age most children begin to experience a loss of ability to use their imaginations and inner-creativity, thereby diminishing their options and possibilities in life.   It is the intention of this workshop to engage participants of all ages in a process of communicating and understanding their individual differences of perspective utilizing the most primitive form of communication... ART! Being engaged in art making and its history, physiologically stimulates the right hemisphere of the brain. This neurological interaction awakens the creative consciousness, thus exposing one to unlimited potential for critical thinking and problem solving.

By bringing this awareness to the group promotes a unique and optimal setting for the acknowledgement of self-discovery  and the ability for one to deal with issues of conflict by utilizing art, thereby promoting positive community resolve. RJM

In 2007 RTF has touched the lives of over 400 school aged children at a cost of less than one-tenth of 1 percent per child, per workshop, as opposed to the $70,000.00 in Arizona tax dollars needed to incarcerate one youth for one year. We integrate the work of Harvard Professor Dr. Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences into our workshops. His work on Whole Brain Thinking acts as a bridge and allows students to pass through fears, that may lead to violence, by providing a means to explore and express their personal dreams and discover what holds them back from endless possibilities. Along with curtailing violence, RTF Workshops educate students using disciplines in writing, interactive play, sensory exercises, group discussion, plus painting and drawing. Students use these tools for personal reflection and resolve to enhance their coping skills. They learn to embrace their dreams and that they are not alone in being fearful of their futures. Noted RTF pre and post-testing results reveal that over 80% of workshop participants discovered that their dreams are part of their reality. Imagine realizing that for the first time.

1995-2008 ~ Since 1995, over 3,000 kids have crossed paths with Release the Fear. . .

As statistics show, 7 times that number of people 17,500 other community members have been positively impacted, Due to the RIPPLING EFFECTS of RTF Workshops.

RTF Measured outcomes from 2007,in Arizona Workshop Pre-to-Post survey results:  Out of 430 Participates in 2007 two key results, by 63% Female - 37% Males-Youth Ages 10 – 21 + Adults

75.1% Realized that they are not alone in their fears
97.1% Participants realize their dreams are part of their reality

Why is this important? Scientific studies prove that children are incapable of learning, let alone retaining, any new knowledge given to them if they are in an environment which presents itself as frightening in their mind. A student must first know that they are in an atmosphere of support and caring before they can begin to take in any new concepts, context and knowledge. To be complacent about our future, our goals, and our dreams makes us complacent about our present. For the present is the stepping stone of all that is to come. If we take that first step towards what is in our heart, we have the courage to continue on a sometimes difficult but creative and dynamic journey. That first step gives us the hope and courage to believe that our dreams, our goal is possible. Children must have the courage and wisdom instilled in them to take that first step. After that they become one measure closer to what will fill them with utter joy, pride and self worth.

It’s not just humanity, its economics.

$60.00-$74.00 prevention or $60,000 -$70,000 incarceration per year, each youth prevented from adopting a life of crime (including, future adult offenses) could save the community
between $1.7 million and $2.3 million per youth.

The Bridging Possibilities workshops creates the opportunity to shift a life of crime or a potential life of crime to a more effective and peaceful outlet.
