VISITORS FROM AFAR
W A T C H..V I D E O

Walk organizer Matt Taylor says his group has already received pledges to dismantle 13 of those weapons. As a symbol of their mission, Muchu carries three candles that represent the trinity nuclear site and two Japanese cities that were bombed, three flames that will eventually become one. The flames should be brought back to the point of origin. So that we can stop living in fear of nuclear weapons. So far it has been a journey with both challenges and rewards. Pain or the blisters and it is heat and sweat and the thirst and hunger, but also wonderful opportunity to make a connection with the people that I meet on the road.

The Monks stopped for prayer at the Release the Fear sculpture in downtown Phoenix. This project is again just a whole connection of what we're all trying to do, which is heal people so they can have a wonderful life. Their journey continues from here to globe Friday morning and then eventually ends August 9th in White Sands, New Mexico. At the trinity nuclear testing site. There they will hold a ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
